Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our solar panel cleaning services.

We recommend cleaning your panels at least once or twice a year. If you live in an area prone to heavy Saharan dust (calima) or near the coast where sea salt builds up, a bi-annual clean ensures you won't suffer a significant drop in power generation.

Yes. Depending on the level of dirt, pollen, and dust, your system's efficiency can drop by 15% to 25%. A heavy layer of baked-on mud rain can block sunlight entirely from certain cells, making the system work much harder.

No. We never use harsh chemicals. We use a 100% pure filtered water system. This completely de-ionizes the water so it naturally attracts and absorbs dirt, lifting it safely from the panel surface without leaving any residue.

Absolutely not. Pressure washers are highly dangerous for solar panels. They can force water under the seals, cause micro-fractures in the glass, and void your manufacturer warranty. We use safe, low-pressure pure water alongside soft-bristle brushes.

No, as long as we have access to the property and the relevant area where your panels are located, we can carry out the service and send you before and after photos.

Yes. Our advanced telescopic poles can typically reach up to 3 storeys high safely from the ground. Only in rare circumstances with unusually pitched or highly complex roofs do we need alternative access.

Our domestic quotes start from €95 + IVA for up to 10 panels. Final pricing depends on the total number of panels and the complexity of access. We provide firm, upfront quotes before beginning any work.

No. We specialize strictly in the external cleaning and physical maintenance of the panel surface. For electrical faults or inverter diagnostics, you should contact a certified solar installation electrician.

If your panels are truly inaccessible from the ground with our telescopic poles, we will assess the situation. Safety is our priority; if the access requires specialist scaffolding, we will inform you before quoting.

Yes. Many of our clients join our annual or bi-annual register. We'll simply remind you when your system is due for a clean, meaning you never have to worry about dirty panels reducing your output.
